Warehouse Supervisor - Lotus HR and Recruitment

Our client, a leading branded marketing and promotional warehousing and distribution company, seeks to employ a Warehouse Operations Supervisor (Inventory and Risk) to join this progressive and expanding professional team.
 
Please note:  This role is 100% focused on risk and inventory control, identifying loss risk, damaged stock losses and improve systems to prevent shrinkage and discrepanies

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have completed Matric coupled with 3–5 years of relevant warehouse experience, with proven responsibility for inventory control and risk management
• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, cycle counting, stock reconciliations, investigating stock variances and maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy
• Proven experience in warehouse risk management, identifying operational risks, investigating discrepancies and implementing appropriate controls to minimise stock losses, damage, shrinkage and process-related risks
• You will have strong analytical, problem-solving, supervisory and WMS capabilities, with the ability to identify inventory discrepancies and drive corrective action
• A focus on 100% inventory accuracy, effective stock control, risk mitigation, audit readiness, loss prevention and adherence to warehouse procedures and OHASA requirements will be required
• Experience overseeing picking, put-away, fulfilment, stock movements and cycle counts, ensuring all inventory transactions are accurately captured and controlled
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
