Senior Manager: Regulatory Reporting - Markalao Recruitment cc

Primary Purpose of the Role - Management and oversight over the requirements of the Banks Act, implentation of risk data aggregation and risk reporting for the Bank, management of the completion and submission process of Banks Act regulatory returns.

Key Performance Areas 

• Analysing risk to determine the qualitative and quantitative risk exposure.
• Relationship with SARB and internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and oversee and produce for the supply of regulatory reporting
• Risk data aggregation

Qualifications & Experience

• B Banking or B Com degree (preferably with a relevant risk management component as part of qualification.
• Ideally CIMA/Advanced banking qualfication
• 10 years experience in Bank regulatory and risk management
• Minimum 5 years in Regulatory environment

Skills and Competences

• Excellent knowledge of SARB regulations Basel and Bank Act
• Good reconciliation skills
• Ability to communicate and operate on an Executive level  whilst still maintaining operational excellence and oversight
