Our client in the automotive industry, based in Sandton, is looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Manager: Procurement Sales (Stock) & Marketing. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in vehicle inventory planning, fleet utilisation, and the coordination of strategic marketing initiatives.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
 
 Fleet Utilisation & Sales Stock Management
  • Coordinate vehicle allocation, stock availability and movement to meet business demand.
  • Support demand planning, stock forecasting and fleet utilisation.
  • Monitor inventory performance, ageing stock and escalate stock risks.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and reporting.
Marketing Coordination
  • Coordinate the execution of dealer, B2B and B2C marketing initiatives.
  • Liaise with agencies, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver campaigns, events and brand activities.
  • Ensure marketing activities align with stock availability and business priorities.
Reporting, Governance & Process Improvement
  • Prepare accurate operational, stock and marketing reports.
  • Support performance reporting and ensure compliance with governance and procurement processes.
  • Drive continuous improvements to reporting, automation and operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • 4–6 years' experience in fleet management, automotive, mobility, vehicle rental or stock management.
  • Demonstrated experience in vehicle inventory planning, stock allocation and utilisation management.
  • Experience coordinating marketing activities, campaigns or suppliers would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and reporting capability.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, planning and organisational skills.
