About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven IT Manager to lead our Information Technology function. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership to the IT Infrastructure and IT Support teams, oversee technology projects, manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements, and maintain secure, resilient, and high-performing IT operations that support the business.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead and develop the IT Infrastructure and IT Support teams to achieve operational excellence.

·         Manage the performance, availability, and continuous improvement of IT operations and services.

·         Plan, coordinate, and successfully deliver IT projects within agreed timelines and budgets.

·         Manage vendor relationships, contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and IT procurement activities.

·         Oversee IT budgets and ensure cost-effective utilization of technology resources.

·         Ensure compliance with POPIA, ISO standards, and internal governance requirements.

·         Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, standards, and operational procedures.

·         Coordinate incident response, problem management, and service restoration activities.

·         Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions.

·         Manage IT assets, licensing, and procurement to support business continuity and operational requirements

Minimum Requirements

 ·         A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.

·         A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an ICT management or senior technical leadership role.

·         3–5 years’ experience managing and developing technical teams.

·         Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, IT support services, and operational environments.

·         Experience in vendor, contract, and project management.

·         Sound knowledge of IT governance, risk, and compliance principles.

·         Budget planning and financial management experience will be advantageous.

·         Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or VMware will be advantageous.

·         Operational Excellence: Maintain stable, secure, and efficient IT operations that enable the business to operate effectively.

Remuneration details:
