Attorney Stellenbosch Cape Winelands 

We are seeking an admitted Attorney to join a reputable finance company in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will provide practical, commercial legal support across the business, with a focus on finance/credit matters, contracts, compliance, and dispute resolution. This is a hands-on role suited to an attorney who can balance legal risk with business priorities.

Salary: Market related

Minimum requirements 

·      LLB degree.

·      Admitted Attorney (High Court)

·      4+ years’ post-admission experience (in-house or private practice)/ Financial Sector.

·      Demonstrated experience in commercial contracting and legal advisory work.

·      Exposure to a finance / credit / banking / lending environment is strongly advantageous.

National Credit Act (NCA) and related regulations
FICA / AML requirements
POPIA / data privacy considerations relating to customer data and collections
Disputes, litigation & collections
Corporate governance & internal legal processes
